“I was trained at the College of Fine Arts in Sydney. The University focus was on conceptual designs where the primary importance was using jewellery as a vessile to communicate ideas and inspirations. At the time I was interested in scientific matters and lab aesthetics, which evetually led me to design with polyester resin and acrylic for their sterile and futuristic appearance. When I completed my degree, I continued to design with acrylic but took on a less serious tone. I wanted my designs to be fun and whimsical- somthing that could be worn everyday.”
